Now, I'm curious, has anyone else taken a look at this model and what are you ideas for a nice base for it? I was thinking standard cork, because his foot comes out of the rim of the base, and that would bother me endlessly. Also, the waist joint on mine seems a bit finicky. Is that normal, and if so, how did you get
around it?

Also, off topic, I love the new cards. They look great in blue.

I just got it as well and for a base I'm thinking just using cork for the base, but trying to place the model more towards an edge so it looks like there is a little motion going on.
As for the waist I also had to finesse it a bit in order to get it just right, I just filed the bottom of the torso and the upper part of the legs where the waist joint meets a little bit just so that its a little bit more flush. Then after I glued the waist, there was a bit of a gap but I filled it and sprayed it with my primer and I don't even notice any more. I also like the new cards as well, the blue looks nice along with the lightning effects.

Do you have any pictures of what you have done so far? I too picked up the new Caine sculpt, but haven't had a chance to work on it yet (been busy the past few days).

indeed. I'd like some pics as well. Gotta clean the model, then get some cork and such to work out its base before i start. My modeling supplies are rather low as of late.
