Anyone know of any good Bradigan proxies?

I'm looking for something a little more "hulked out" since the guy can get four dice on the charge.

I'm thinking one of the "Thrud the barbarian" figs might be a good base to work off of:

1. Do a head swap to a bald mug

2. add a collar and manacles with chains

3. resculpt or greenstuff from the waste down to add pirate pants/boots/sash, etc.

Maybe the guy in the front left?

Anyone know of any other figs with this sort of vibe that might be usable as a basis for a conversion?

You could try this guy:

He's a clay golem from Reaper Miniatures. He's pretty big, but not unreasonably so, and easily converted.

I have that model... it would be pretty difficult to get him on a small base.

I was actually going to make a thread asking this same question, though, so I've very interested in responses as well!

hmm... why not Boris from Heresy as well? I mean, he's awesome :)

Do a ship's Deck style base, and just go over the edges of your base with planking. Or big ol rocks made from corkboard.

Having used and rebased Reaper minis in the past, my only gripe is getting them cut off of the hideous metal bases they're cast with. :(
