So the title is a little misleading for just this post, but there will be more!
I'm painting the Warcasters in Khador Red, but the troops in Grey. Of course, the dog is an attachment and is painted Red.

The paints were Blood Red, Scorched Brown and Chain Mail from GW and Menoth White Highlight and Menoth White Base from PP.
The MW-H was used as the base and MW-B was mixed 50/50 with water to form a glaze for the top of the dog's coat, leaving the underside the lighter colour.
The Scorched Brown turned out a little too dark, so I'll probably bump up to Bestial Brown for future leather use.
Finally, I used Minwax Polyshades Tudor Satin as 'dip'. Actually I paint the dip on, but it really adds depth and definition to the model. He was pretty quick to paint up.
The snow is some modelling powder snow mixed with white glue and glued to the base. It starts out like a paste and hardens quite well.
On the painting table is a Destroyer that needs a little stenciling before it's ready and a unit of Kayazy with Underboss.
