I have a 4 by 4 gaming table with frame.
How can I apply the grass paper (i think is 4 by 6 if I'm not wrong) onto the gaming area.
Several problem I see:
1)Cutting the paper to size
2)Manner in which one apply the paper to the table surface taking into account that one have a frame around the table.
3)Any better solution beside sticking it down? A previous experience tell me that should there be moisture, the paper tend to get all crumply
All help appreciate :)

Here is a series of helpful articles on table construction. http://www.quindia.com/studioarticles.htm
Do not cut to size until you've adhered the paper to the board. I haven't used grass mats (I used felt), but I'd recommend painting glue on the board, dampening the paper a little and spreading it over the table. I did this with my table (and felt) and it adhered well. I had to go back around the edges and do another bead of glue, but it hasn't started to peel yet.

It might also be worth sealing the grass once it is in place, as it will wear off over time.

this is what i would also recommend as it has worked for me in the past.

3M Super 77. That stuff makes it fairly easy to lay down just small sections at a time making paper much easier to work with. Also from my use of the product it doesn't really hurt paper at all if you use it properly. I build papercraft houses for RPG's using this to glue regular printer paper to cereal boxes (card-stock is expensive) and haven't had it wrinkle my paper or even cause any visible problems yet.
As for having a border around your table you'll want to get a metal ruler to use for creasing the paper to fit inside the border. Another good thing about the ruler is it can be used to help remove any air bubbles that you might have as you glue. Also make sure you test fit the paper to the table before you start gluing. Once you glue the paper down lightly use a hobby knife to trim excess that you creased with the ruler.
