Ok so im heading down to redmond WA to play in the event there or possibly casual games. for ease of transport im going to play my mercs.
So im interested in the opinions on the following list as we only get one and ill need it to be decent vs hordes and warmachine.
Four Star list:
Magnus the traitor
Mangler
Renegade
Renegade
6 Greygore Boomhowler and company
10 cylena reafyll and Nyss hunters
Harlan Versh, Illuminated One
Orin Mid winter, Rogue Inquisitor
Reinholdt, gobber Speculator
I feel the upkeeps on the jacks will make them hard to hit or damage and give great melee offensive capabilities to the Mangler.
greygore can keep his troop alive fairly well and they can mostly stand alone though I wish I could have fit 10!
Harlan is a bit of a wild card as I havent used him but his offensive capabilities against enemies with upkeep spells on them might make people think twice about using buff spells.
Orin is there mainly to shut down the enemy magic use.
Reinholdt was points filler but his abilities have always come in handy on occasion with Mangus ive found.
Im debating though if it might be worth while dropping Harlan and reinholdt in exchange for a 10 man unit of greygore and friends :)
