Borka's chin?

So amidst all the mk II playtesting I have been painting up some of my trolls. My Borka is almost done yet I have not painted the 3 spikes on his chin. My reason for this is that the stock painting is just painted like flesh while the illustration looks more like they are piercings. I've been leaning towards painting them metal for piercings since they are very different from the normal bumps other trollkin have. So piercings or just sharp growths, anyone have a answer?

Im painting mine as sharp growths, i think its spikey because of his youth?

have you not read the fluff? :P
but Borka is unlike many other trollkin, he's massive for a start, and sorta like a fell caller=promiscuous and hes nature fits sharp spiky growths rather then curling growths
