I'm moving from Orlando to Andersonville in February. I'm nervous about finding somewhere to play my beloved Hordes and Warmachine! Can anyone make any suggestions as to a good place to play? Is there a Chicago PG I can talk to? Gah! Nerves are going...
I'm going to need my fix.

If you have trouble registering (they're a bit secure about their forums) contact
me with the registered username and I'll let them know to approve it.
My name's Felix, I run the events out of BSG. Sheeplauncher is responsible for
the events out of Games Plus (a larger venue, but further out).
If you don't mind posting it here, where in town will you be?

I'm going to be on N. Glenwood.
I have no idea where that is.

East, maybe north.
Try google maps to see how far you are from
5426 N. Kedzie (The address to Black Sun Games)
There are stores in the northeast part (one in Evanston and one north) but
I simply haven't had time to check them out recently. I'll try over break.

Welcome to the frozen north! The three cities (Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago-land) also send decent contingents to each other's tournaments. PG trazor is in Milwaukee, and Madison is blessed with PG majortusk and PG carnage4u. They always post tournies here on the PP boards. As a matter of fact, at majortusk's 'MKI Farewell' tourny today, it was decided that Madison will be hosting THREE (!) Resurgence tournies in early 2010, one on January 30th, the other two TBD. Cheers!

My names Aaron and I'm actually the one taking care of Games Plus (http://www.games-plus.com/) these days. We have a fairly regular group on Saturday and would always welcome new players.
That said, I believe Black Sun Games will be closer.

Depends on if he means Glenwood the city or North Glenwood the street. One's a southern suburb and the others a neighborhood to the north.
If it's the street, Black Sun Games is actually quite close.

For the record the Earthborn did almost all of my caster murderizing. Something about having up to 7 power attacks just makes him kind of silly.

Gargathor, you make me sad by forgetting me.
Milwaukee will also have numerous Resurgence events in January.

That's a lot. We're going to go with regular steamroller to try to get the
locals up to speed on MK2 rules and then resurgence in February. Too bad
they have a small space at BSG. Hopefully Lord Stormbringer can bring the
storm to Games Plus.
