Guardian Angel
Cost: 1
Range: Self

Friendly animi and upkeeps in this model's Command range cannot be removed or caused to expire. Guardian Angel expires immediately if this model is destroyed. Guardian Angel lasts for one round.

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't completely thought through all the repercussions of it, and I'm certain that someone will tell me if it's too much :) I just was rolling around the pKreoss problem and the Angelius's always-underused animus problem and the two kinda dovetailed into this idea. Off the top of my head, it might be painful to be unable to remove Parasite, but anything that's got Parasite on it is not long for this world anyway.

Thoughts? If I woke up retarded this morning, that's fine and I have no problem being told so; I have no ego wrapped up in this.

My feedback was

Avenging Angel- Cost 2 Range 6" Target friendly faction model. This model gains Vengence for a round if a friendly faction model is killed in its CMD range. A model with Vengence may move 3" in its maintanence phase and make one normal melee attack.

This keeps the idea, makes it more generic, and gives the Angelius an aggressive movement animus to the Seraphs more passive one.

I don't think it's too much at all - in fact I would go as far as to say it's far underpowered, and will only see use in games against menoth

It'd also help against Cyrx and the Withershadow Combine, and some other miscellaneous stuff that crops up to shake off Shadowstalk. Now that you say it, though, you're right, it might be a little weak. It looks strong when you're thinking about the things that cripple upkeeps, but there might not be enough of those things around to warrant an animus to stop them.

Even still, if I used it once to save one upkeep from one Withershadow, that'd still be more than I used Mk1 Avenging :)
