As I am planning a move to the DFW (Dallas-Forth Worth) area in the near future (at this time next year), I would like to know if there are any shops in that area where I can purchase WarmaHordes minis, as well as play the game more often? Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hey,
Where in DFW are you moving to? The metroplex is kinda large. The two biggest stores for WM/H are Hobbytown Plano, and Area 51 in Grapevine. Xmax just closed in downtown Dallas and another store is supposed to be opening there sometime soonish. DFW also has a local community page on this forum, and a local forum we use here:

Depending on how often you want to play, you may want to take these locations into consideration when choosing where to live. Unless you like driving. :>

does the community at Hobbytown in Plano still play on Thurs nights?...I make it up to the metroplex occasionally, since my in-laws live there...

Hobbytown Plano: Great guys, but more competitive. If you like to play Tournament style, with quick fast paced, fully synergized armies that can shock you with their efficiency, then you'll love Hobbytown. Also, everytime I've been, the tables seemed fairly reserved for Warmachine.
Area 51: Casual players, slower paced games, more new players getting started, less harsh restrictions on play-style. There are also a myriad of other events/games going on like Magic, or Gamesworkshop players competing for table space.
Both stores have great players & each has their own loyal players. Distance plays the biggest part, in that the plano store is almost an hour drive away b/c of the stop lights. That is, unless you have a toll pass, which makes it a more bearable 25 min drive along major highways & toll roads.
