Post sizes in Social Groups

Hi -- I'm not sure how quickly the turnaround could be on this but could the post limits on Social Groups be a bit higher? I was trying to post an introduction in a thread there and the limit is currently 1000 characters; barely enough for much to be said -- in particular if I'm trying to be multi-lingual.
