Which would be the better option?

Calaban
-Wrastler
-Bull Snapper
-Bull Snapper

Wrong Eye
-Snap Jaw

4 Farrow Bone Grinders
5 Gatormen

I have exactly 6pts left.

Drop a Bull Snapper, get a second Wrastler or a Spitter and a Feralgeist IMO.

Well, don't have the Snapper yet and I'm still contemplating whether it's worth getting a second Wrastler considering that if I'm fielding two heaviest, it'll be a Wrastler and Snapper rather than 2 Wrastlers.

So the Croaks and the second minimum unit of Gatormen are what I have to work with at the moment.

Well what is your plan for the list as both are valid options. More Gatorman would bring more smash to your list, whereas the croaks would give you 3 ranged attacks and they are great for getting in the way or sneaking around behind your opponents lines. My personal preference would be for the croaks as they add versatility and can compliment Calabans magic barrage before the big crunch.

put a Spitter in Wrong-Eye's BG... that is 6 points in his Tier...

that is an extra heavy in your list and it can lay down some serious pain in both shooting and Melee.
and Wrong'Eye can easily run another Beast... especially one that is Fury efficient (that blast is really fury efficient.. don't even need to boost DAM... :Cont-Corrosion: does that for you )

If you only have the Croaks and Posse to work with I would say to go with the trio of Croaks for versatility like Frazerpenman said, but I would probably go with 2 Croaks and a Snapper on Wrongeye if you can swing it. My ideal list for Calaban is a little different though:
Calaban -6
4 Snappers +12
Full Posse +9
Wrongeye +9
Spitter +6
Min Bonegrinders +2
Croak +2
Feralgeist +1

This will get you to tier 4 for an extra 2" deploy which is invaluable in scenarios. Heavy armor will be a tough nut to crack with this list since you only have one heavy hitter and one medium hitter, but Parasite helps out a lot there. Combat solos shouldn't be a problem with all the Snappers since that's what they are made to deal with and in the worst case scenario 2-3 of them should be able to take out an ARM 20 jack that has been parasited. For a tournament I might even be tempted to drop the Croak en lieu of another pair of Feralgeists since they are so good at getting or contesting control points against most armies.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll give the Croaks a whirl on friday and see how things turn out.

The other option I had in mind was to have a minimum unit of Bog Trogs and a Feralgeist.

From what I can tell, Bog Trogs aren't really worth in in games under 50 points. Their main purpose is keeping enemies away from the flanks and funnelling them into your main army, but if your main army is too small then you're just being counter-productive.

Right. 3 Croaks for the whirl then!

looking forward to hearing how this goes, I love the idea of fielding three croaks!
