Here are my 3 lists as of this moment, they are 30 points each (house rules)

pSevvy +6
Revenger *
Revenger 6
Crusader 6
Flameguard Cleansers 5
Exemplar Errant 5
Rhupert 2
Vilmon 3
Paladin 2
Wracks 1

EKreoss +6
Crusader *
Revenger 6
Devout 5
Full Bastions 8
Exemplar Errant 5
Rhupert 2
Vilmon 3
Wracks 1

Kreoss +5
Devout *
Revenger 6
Crusader 6
Exemplar Errant 5
Min Bastions 5
Rhupert 2
Vilmon 3
Paladin 2
Wracks 1

these are the three lists i have been using for a very long time. Now I want a new caster (I cant wait for vindictus righ now :P ) I was looking at new casters to get but the ones that seem the most interesting to run only have 6 focus. In all honesty, im scared that my jacks will under perfom because of the spells I will be casting, and vice versa. pFeora looks really interesting, but her feat is useless against my main opponent (assault kommandos, and other high armor khadorians) and the majority of her spells. Reznik is very nice but the amount of jacks i want to run I think they will under perform, because....just look at his spell list!!! Ad-Raza looks very focus efficient when it comes to jacks, but he provides no support to my units. Does anyone think my units that i have are self reliable? After many a deliberation, Reznik seems the sensible one to get, engine of destruction is nice, really nice, hex blast is a good offensive spell, ignite is great on a jack or unit, iron agression is focus efficient, and perdition adds some mobilty to my jacks. Now with that being said, What is good jack combination to use with him? I have, a crusader, 2 revengers, devout, and a repenter.

Im thinking this

Reznik +6
Revenger * (great arc node to toss some spells around)
Crusader 6 (my fav cheap beatstick)
Devout 5 ( sticks close to him, and pounce when needed)
Exemplar Errant 5 (versatile high armor unit)
Min Bastions 5 ( i hear good things about these beasts with reznik)
Rhupert 2 (because he's Rhupert like that)
Vilmon 3 (becuase he's Vilmon like that)
Paladin 2 (vilmons Homie)
Wracks 1 (always good)

If im just monologuing plz tell me, is any of the above good at all?

Wow, haha

I dont even play PoM but heres what I see right away.

pSevvy is a bada$$. You wanna use the hierophant with him for the 1 less focus for a spell.

BaV is a must. +2 to att and dam when you arc node spells through it!

That means with eye of menoth and the arcnode your getting a POW 13 ashes to ashes. pretty dope :)

how about taking a HR/ silent Bob list, not sure on points, but here is an idea:

HR/Silent Bob
revenger 6
devout 5
full bastions 8
cleanser 5
expemplars 5
wracks 1
vilmon 3

lots of souls for collecting, an arc node for ash cloud, the bastions to provide the hammer blow, and vilmon to take on jacks

I just tried out a Testament list which I've never ran before, changes things up which is always nice. With his 5 focus, it plays a little different as far as you want to keep the infantry in your control area, but as soon as your units start to get killed off you will have plenty of focus for any jacks you want to run. Plus, providing you get within 13" of the enemy caster you can go for an assassination run.

I ran him with:
Fire of Salvation, really liked the auto boost and out of turn move.
Hierophant - helps out when reviving your troops.
Daughters of the Flame
Bastions
Vengers
Gravus
Knights Exemplar
Temple Flameguard + UA
Vassal
Wracks

It definitely changes things up considering you have been used to Kreoss and Sevy, another option would be to try out Feora. I like playing her, and depending who you play against, setting the entire enemy on fire is always fun!

I like a Raza list.

raza
devout
crusader
6x dervishs
Wracks
Max choir
Covenant

Still playing it out but, I'm liking it so far. Love the reaction on people's face when 8 jacks hit the board. :)

i know, feora was my first choice, but my main opponent is khador and more importantly khador with fireproof assault kommandos. Its not worth feilding her at all (rightnow atleast). But i do like the idea of changing things drastically by running the high reclaimer, he's pretty fluffy nd looks like hes fun to play

Make sure you use plenty of ash cloud cover, and make the most of ashes to ashes on his assault comandos, and I expect your opponent will have winterguard - so an arc node to get a2a on them will help.

Daughters are a good investement: being able to auto-point x2 damage can cause real grief to any infantry squad. Oh wait - you are about to be hit back! let them try the def 17, and then they can then acrobat out of there

does'nt assault kommandos ignore cloud effects? They did in MkI. Not sure about MkII, and I don't have the PDF handy at the moment...
