You know, I'm pretty sure I've seen that face somewhere before (and I don't mean on PP Zoktavir pictures). Could you reveal the source of your inspiration?

Um, I was on a trip to Johor at the time, so I had no references on hand. I'm not even sure if I got the armor and Lola right.

If I remember I learned the stretchy angry mouth from expressive cartoon characters like Stimpy and Rocko. The heavy brow i remember learning from looking at heavy set characters like Guile from Street fighter.

Most of the expressions I draw are either from cartoons I watch, comics I read as well as having some very animated and expressive people in my life.

Dude! I like! The little magic flames with faces are a nice touch, and the face style is giving me memories of old cartoons.

Well to each their own, Kwadjo; perhaps you'd care to share your vision of the Butcher of Khardov?

I prefer to think of the Butcher in terms of a comically fat axe-wielding loon; in hindsight I should have added some gore-spatter to him, but oh well, the benefits of hindsight. His whole 'lost daughter' ambiguous backstory is a little too emo for my liking so I prefer to think of him just as bloodthirsty crackers, rather than the whole 'rage fueled by loss' thingamajigger.
