View Full Version : Leash and moving towards a model

When a spell/ability allows you to make an advance towards a model, do you have to go directly towards that model, or just end up closer? My assumption is you move directly towards the model, any distance you want, but I thought I should check on this.

The other way to look at this (and IMO it's a bit rules lawyer-ish, but hey, I don't make the rules) is that if you were travelling around the radius of a circle distance K from the model, and in your movement made the smallest decrease in the distance K from that model as you went about the circle, you were moving towards it. Not my preferred way of reading it though, and it seems a stretch, but I'm curious if this would also apply.

Toward, Directly Toward, Away from, and Directly Away from are all clearly defined terms, see Primal MK2 pg19
