Do you think you'll play minions, the mercs of hordes, once their pact rules are out? Like the title says, just a quick poll.
(My answer is yes)

I'm very excited to play a Farrow army. Here's hoping they have some neat rules.

I won't bother unless they make some real minion warlocks.

Ditto! The farrow brigands were the first infantry unit I bought for hordes.

When did they announce minion armies?

Hordes MKII Fieldtest Core Rules - References to "Minion Pacts" as all minion armies, the way "Mercenary Contracts" are mentioned in WM core rules.
Also, the new rules for Wrong Eye and Rorsh are different from Dahlia and Brun's, and reference "Gatorman" and "Farrow" warbeasts.
I'm a Merc to the core. So, yes. Can't wait!

I'm not going to lie, before picking up Khador I was seriously considering picking up mercs. Though when I was told that learning to play mercs well was an "uphill battle" I veered away from them. Though once my Khador strategy is down pat ( During my 40k days I would jump from army to army very fast, something I came to regret) I fully intend to play mercenaries like I always wanted to. And I know for a fact I will want to play minions once the time comes.

A 'Gator army would be a lot of fun, I would definitely play a Minion pact.

Absolutely. I'll probably try to trade my Skorne in for store credit to do a Minion Pact army. It's about time they took a concerted stand.

Neither Farrow nor Gatormen appeal to me, so as it stands, no. However it's always possible they'll pull out some new mini-faction that I do find compelling.

I'd be in for a farrow army. No doubt. I like the models but they don't fit in with my Legion. So I'd love an opportunity to run them with their own caster.

At Balewin-
It's that uphill battle aspect that is best thing about mercs. Because of it you learn how to get the most out of every model and you just play for the love of the game instead of just wanting to win.

and I completely understand that, which is another reason why in the long run mercs will be what I want to play. I just didn't want to be put in a position where I lost every single match I played and get discouraged from the game. I mean I do want to play the game to have fun, but it just wouldn't be fun if i couldn't win a single match.

I MAY start a small one if the rules/new units fit my style, but I'm already knee deep into Skorne, neck deep into Mercs and starting a Winter Guard Army for a 2010 Paint & Play. I could see maybe a 25 pointer if I found the dough though (I really dig Rorsch).

The only Minion I don't currently own is (for no particular reason) the Feralgeist. So it seems pretty likely I'll end up on the Minion Bandwagon as well. I wonder how much of my other stuff I can get painted before this new army heads in.

ditto... They are going to need a lot more Minion jazz released, before I'd consider playing them. There is a lot of potential, though...
