Hey guys, This is a 25 point list that is made primarily around the models i like the look of. I have yet to play a game or buy anything yet, I will be testing this list out tomorrow.
Iron Lich Asphyxious
Deathrippers x2
Deathjack
Mechanithralls (leader and 5 grunts)
Necrosurgeon and 3 stich thralls
Bloat Thrall
21/25pts
I dont really know what to use the last 4 points on? I was thinking perhaps another bloat thrall?
I would like to play as jack heavy as possible, so if that could be accomplished another way im all ears.
Thanks for the help,

Cankerworm with Gaspy! Gotta be!
He's 5pts so will take some wiggling to get in but he's a tough little nut

Drop the bloat...add the cankerworm...add in a necrotech to keep the arc nodes running. And you're golden....or.....drop 1 node altogether and upgrade the mech thralls to a max unit

Going to say keep the nodes. I have won a fair few games on turn two with a nice spell spam from gaspy :).

Cankerworm is fantastic. With just one focus it can charge a heavy jack and inflict some serious damage. Assuming ARM 20, you're looking at 3d6+1 damage, and it can then slink away to hide. If it can flee into rough terrain, great, but if not, Asphyxious (especially epic) should be able to hide it with a cloud. Also it's a MAT7 advance deploy pathfinder stealth jack for 5 points. I can't imagine not taking it. And once wreck markers start showing up...

You have a very fast army, except of course for the bloat thrall. I'd ditch it as you won't see much utility out of it. I feel that gaspy needs a skarlock and a few more mechanithralls wouldn't hurt either.
+1 for the cankerworm. I won't never use him uless it's with gaspy. The additional movement is just clutch. You might also consider a necrotech. For 1 point you get two figs and I always get use out of the "repair" skill.
Best of luck.

Cankerworms amour piercing is a star attack now so you can't use the charge bonus as you forfit your initial attacks to do a star attack

Where do you read that if you forfeit your initial attacks, you do not get a charge bonus?

Well I'll be... just re-read it and we've been playing it wrong... you can't charge and make a power attack...

No, but you can slam so that you get an extra 3" of movement. I also wanted to clarify what you're saying about charging and power attacks. So you can't charge and 2-handed throw, but you can still charge and do special attacks unless it says otherwise. Yes you have to forfeit initial attacks, but you still get the charge damage on a special attack.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking.
The Cankerworm does get to charge and bite because it is not a power attack, but it is a special attack.
The same way when Tartarus charges and threshers, his charge target gets boosted damage against it.

Sorry back on topic...
How about some Bloodgorgers or Black Ogrun to shield gaspy as he's on a medium base... Gorgers I think are 5pts for a min unit and I think the BO are 4pts

Do you mean just to stand around his base the whole game to block LOS? I think that's probably a waste of a unit. With teleport it should be pretty easy to end his activation in a safe place. If you're really worried about it, an Ogryn Bokur is a pretty good buy.

Mcpeepants is right. The Bokur is good to soak up one ranged shot per turn.
Also, blocking LOS with medium bases can lead to some scary slam situations if you're opponent is savvy enough. Last thing u want is Gaspy slammed into and knocked down.
It's a shame because he has all of the mechanics and stats of a small based caster, coupled with the loss of screening, there is really no reason he should be on a medium base. The new emphasis on shooting makes it that much harder to keep him alive now.
