Alternate Gator Themes

The Preview for the next NQ shows alternate color schemes, one being for Gators. I I for one am fired up as my gators aren't painted yet. Anyone here care to share their alternate painted gators? Maybe even a recipe?

There are some in the paining forum. Basically you've got your green gators, and you've got your brown gators. I don't think I've seen anything stray too far out of those schemes, although some of them are yellower than others.

Also, more people should be doing lucha masks on their Wrastlers.

I heard there was a blighted scheme somewhere for gators under the control of Everblight. I have a nice tan scheme that is a mix of bleached bone and bestial brown 3:1 I'll have to upload it later when Im back at home.

I am planning on a 35pt Rasheth themed list with a unit of Gatormen and was intending on Skorne-ifing them with flesh hooks and armour plates. I also fancy Wrong Eye and Snapjaw (with Bull Snapper) and Cryxing them up too.

Well one day anyway :(

Here's my Wrong-Eye and Snapjaw. I wanted to go with the natural skin tone for American alligators so I did bluish black with a little bit of grey. Since gators lose the blue hue to their skin and tend to grey with age I may go back and hit Wrong-Eye with a grey wash to lighten him up a bit since he's probably older than the average gator. Barny's definately going to be more grey than blue, if I put any blue on him at all, what with him being one of the oldest living beings on Caen.

And here's a couple of just Wrong-Eye and another group shot. I've still got a way to go on the bases with some more lichens and probably replacing the plants with MiniNatur weed tufts whenever I get around to buying some.
