Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to move back to my gaming area and they are running a 50 pts SR2011 tournie a week after I get back. I haven't played in the most recent iteration of the SR rules but have played in the 2010 version multiple times. I've sketched 4 lists together and was wondering what peoples opinions were on them.
List 1:
pIrusk Teir 1
pIrusk +6
-Spriggan 9
-Devestator 8
-Kodiak 8
War Dog 1
4 Battle Mechaniks 2
10 Iron Fang Pikemen 10
-UA
3 Iron Fang Uhlans 7
3 MoW Shocktroopers 6
Great Bears 5
This list mixes some grind game ablilities (feat + IFP/MoW, heavies + mechaniks) with blitz tactics (Uhlans/ IFP + Battle Lust). With an initial burst of speed, use of Inhospitable Ground and the inherent durability this list will be very hard to move once it gets onto an objective.
List 2:
pButcher +6
-Juggernaut 7
-Juggernaut 7
-Kodiak 8
War Dog 1
4 Battle Mechaniks 2
10 Kayazy Assassins 10
-Underboss
10 Winter Guard Rifle Corps 8
Kovnik Joe 2
5 MoW Shocktroopers 9
Koldun Lord 2
This list is similar to the first list, however I don't believe it has as many redundancies. What it does have is a lot of hurt potential, but I'm curious to hear opinions on this list as I haven't played pButcher at this point level before.
List 3:
eButcher +6
-Beast-09 11
-Berserker 6
-Berserker 6
Doom Reavers 6
Great Bears 5
10 Iron Fang Pikemen 8
Widowmakers 4
Kell 2
Drakhun w/Dismount 5
This list is an assassination list looking to take advantage of the feat. Widowmakers+Kell should almost ensure 6 tokens as long as I can take care of them in the opening turns of the game. If I can get the rage drivers off Beast-09 becomes a crazy threat with 3 rage tokens. If I can't pull off the drivers on the feat turn, the Drakhun/Great Bears/Doom Reavers should be able to pick up the slack.
List 4:
Strakhov +6
-Behemoth 13
-Spriggan 10
-Berserker 6
Great Bears 5
10 Iron Fang Pikemen 10
-UA
10 Kayazy Assassins 10
-Underboss
Koldun Lord 2
I feel like this list is the least able to play for scenarios. However with the IFP blocking LOS to Strakhov, while being flanked by Kayazy to one side and Occultation Great Bears to the other should allow for some fun shenanigans. I've also enjoyed launching the Berserker into the enemy early in the game. With Overrun + Superiority he can be launched 15", and I see him as completely expandable. Likely he will have 2 focus on him to allow for 5 attacks, and I try to get him close to infantry so that if he does explode I get a little more bang for my buck.
So what do you guys/gals think of these lists?
