..and renamed to 'fear of god'. Both a blessing and a curse. Now it can't be spammed, but at the same time it's going to shut a unit down for the whole game and regardless of whether the arcnode is alive or dead. Think crippling grasp people!

I'm personally ok with this change. The only thing I was afraid of was that they'd remove rebuke and give nothing to take its place. I would've preferred to have the original like I would prefer to get $1,000 but I'm still ok the way things ended up anyway.

I can't help but lol at all the whining. Also, Fear of God just sounds like 500% more awesome, which is a big bonus to me.

It's way better this way. I love it. Prevents the "spamming" (that never actually occurred) and allows it to be situationally removed if you have the right tool in your list. I honestly only ever shut down one unit per turn anyways. I'm going to take out the Combine and then cast and upkeep on the Bile Thralls the entire game. FU Bile Thralls! hee hee

And, yeah, "Fear of God" is so full of win.

I actually like this as an upkeep.... for the EXACT reason Snake Eyes says above.

To be fair, PP giving us the FT has already showed they take good care of our whines.

But yeah, I was kinda disappointed by this too. Still better than news I heard from the other tabletop game though. Google 'Pumbagor' if you wanna know.

In all fairness tsochung, player reaction was based on bad information. Plus many players from other factions also reacted in an upset fassion over the change that were were leaked. I would not generalize about the faction from one morning's flurry of activity based off inaccurate spoilers.

I don't know about the rest, but it wasn't even the information itself, it was the source, or lack of information from PP that made me whine.

Fair enough. But the only change to the spell was to make it an upkeep. Otherwise it is exactly the same. That is an extremely small change, like dropping the cost of Trenchers by a single point. It is not epic like the change to Bloodgorgers.
