35 pt Thornfall or Tier?

I'm looking at two different list and would like some feedback.

Thronfall pact.
Lord carver
warhog
warhog
gunboar

2x Min brigands
2x Razor back crews
Grinders Min
and Altan Ashley

or a Tier list
Dr. A
4x Warohog
2 min brigands
and a Full bone grinders.

Thoughts?

Both lists look solid to me. Personally I'd kind of like full units of Brigands in the first one but I haven't tried Carver yet. Maybe this Thursday, I just got him painted last night. But, the points have to come from somewhere so you'd probably end up losing out on some of your other ranged stuff. Try it and let us know how it works out.

Four War Hogs is a lot of Fury for Arkadius to handle and may be more than optimum. Just something to watch out for. I've been taking three with him plus Rorsch & Brine to take a bit of the load off and give myself some different options. My list basically trades the two min Brigands and a War Hog for Rorsch & Brine and a single max Brigands. See the Arkadius Chronicles thread for some game experiences with that list.

Took a 50 point version of the carver list out

Won the roll so deployed the
Hog, Gun boar, Carver, and hog
then deployed
Full brigands spaced for harhogs to go between and all three Razor backs in the center ashley went on the flank

first turn everyone moved up and dug in again and carver and company moved up and got in position
his turn he moved up and his ashley put some damage on my right flank hog

second turn brigands on left go pathfinder to move up through some trees and kill a couple of doomies center brigands go hogwild and kill more doomies and dig in again right flank brigands kill ashley and knock down two doomies. GB moves up and puts up counter blast and kills yuire witha boosted splash damage roll

he moves up and kills my ashely with a man hunter and surviving doom reavers kill some brigands. Beast charges but cant kill off mu right flank hog. behomoth and sprigan kills some brigands.

third turn I pop feat and trash beast brigands clear out troops and my left flank hog charges in and leaves behhometh with 4 boxes
he has sprigan and behomoth left and does some shuffling fails to kill my beast to claear a charge lane for his spriggan so his spriggan kills the hog and caster hides behind sprigan

last turn My brigands put behomth to one point and about 12 damage to strakov right flank hog puts up animus and charges behomoth then shifts his inch and finishes strakov with his last two initials
