Looking for a LGS that is relatively close to Caro. I see that Bay City and Saginaw have places that provide gear, but wanting to experience play against other than my wife.

I thought we had some guys in the vicinity of Midland/Bay City. Might also try to get a hold of people in the Flint area. If nothing else, they might know someone closer.
It's a little beyond my range though. You may end up having a significant drive.

There's Cashman's Comics in Bay City that provides a purchase point. I am also hopeful that there are WM gamers in the area.
We have a small group that plays in Port Huron at Cool City Games, you can check out the facebook page or just pm me if you're interested.

Not sure Port Huron is in our future. Neither are working atm, though plans are to get employment asap. But it is good to know we have stuff relatively close by.

Hey Cerinicus..... there is a place in Saginaw called The Board Room. Its a fun gamming store. We are gonna have a unofficial tournament this Saturday. Every Friday night there is Warmachine going on there also. This Saturday is the tournament.

Manchine, Sorry I missed ya. I work on Fri and Sat nights so those aren't in the plans. But it is good to know that there is a place in Saginaw to play. Just as an FYI my wife and I only own the battleboxes for our respective forces, so tourney play is not in the cards right now. I would love some game time in the middle of the week if possible. Let me know!
Edit: Does there happen to be a PG that visits the store on a regular basis?
Edit Edit: Let me know how the tourney turned out. Number of participants, types of forces, etc.

It was a small fights (15 points). So everyone could play. I played MacBain and was the only Merc player there. There was 5 horde players and 4 warmachine. It was a fun time by all. I got 2 wins and 2 loses. Not bad for only playing 2 times before that. I know I need to get some more models... although Privateer Press seems to not have anything ready.
Until I get some more help at work.... I can barely make it to every other weekend on fridays right now. I am working 6 days a week. Stop in to The Boardroom its a nice place.
PG???? Nope don't know the name.

Plan on doing so the next time I'm in Saginaw, even if it is just to look around. I only have 4 points to get to 15, I think I need that new choir... but then I need one more point and dunno if I want the rack or not, or perhaps dropping the choir to min and getting a reclaimer solo.... In any event I look forward to the time we can be combatants.

I'm in Lexington but I think I could make it out to Caro or Saginaw once in a while. I've got 35pt Cygnar ready to play on most evenings or weekends.

Caro doesn't really have a gaming space. The boardroom in saginaw seems to be the place to play around here. I don't have anything more than the battlebox at the moment, but hey a battle is a battle :)

Yup a battle is a battle if there are going to be people playing at the boardroom on a weekend post it here and I will come up.

Just came back from Bay City where I happened upon a Game On store. The clerk in there plays menoth and says the boardroom in saginaw has friday regulars for warmachine. I'm going to try to make it once my fund situation is resolved. I wanna get games in against other than the wife-unit

Did he say around what times people usually show up to play?

Unfortunately, no he didn't. But if you go to the board room website and give that number a call, I am sure they can answer that particular question for ya.

The Board Room has 2 4x4 tables, and 6 4x6 tables for open play 6 days a week (12pm to 8pm, Weds 12p-10pm). Friday night is Warhammer/Warmachine fight night. Most of the Warmachine players arrive around 7pm and they play until 2am.
They have a facebook page Here (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Board-Room-Game-Center/119716901373249)

EdwardQ: Thanks for the info! I have been both to their homepage and FB page. Unfortunately, Fridays right now are outta the question for me. Though I would love to make it at some point in the future. For now, it looks like a weekday for me is the only availability I have. But again, thanks for the info!
