In the Series 1:Rise Strategy Guide there are rules for Solitaire Monsterpocalypse. They are on page 56 of that guide.

Thanks for the comment. How is the gameplay if someone is playing both side? I am interested iin this games but not my gaming group so I want to know if the game is solo friendly? Will there be a lot hidden movement / information etc..

Oh, that kind of solo play. Everything would be open. No hidden movement. No hidden information. The solitaire rules I mentioned really don't fit your situation.

Perhaps your gaming group would be willing to give the game a second look now that it's in a non-collectible format? Worth a shot, mate!

If you're interested in the game, there's also Vassal. I only have one IRL opponent but that doesn't stop me from playing multiple games a week online.

Thanks all. Sounds like I can still enjoy the game even play in solo way.

Yeah, if you've got a couple hours to kill and can handle keeping all the information straight (remembering which monster's turn it is, which side that civilian unit belongs to, etc.), solo monpoc can definitely work; the only "hidden information" in the game comes in the form of positioning mistakes and the like, so a solo game is pure strategy (apart from the luck of the roll). Try to be honest about choosing a map that makes life difficult for whichever monster is going first and easy for the one that goes second - which is which is of course quite arbitrary when you're your own opponent.
