Very Thematic eSorscha List - 50pts

There is a very large state wide tournament next month and while I would like to do well at it, I really have no desire to show up with a tailor made tournament list. I love themed lists but still want them to be competative. My EIrusk Iron Fang list seems to have all of the kinks worked out, so I'm working on making my second list. Can it still be competitive?

Obviously it's a very ranged list. Beast would be my point man leading the assault, with the winterguard units coming behind him cleaning up whatever he left in his wake. The destroyer will stay close to Sorscha to protect her and the artillery pieces will do what they do best. Thoughts, comments, concerns?

You do know that you can't bond beast 09 he is a character jack and only non-character jacks can be bonded. But otherwise I kinda like it.

The rule book says that a character jack can bond to the caster they have an affinity to. Beast for Sorscha, Drago for Vlad(if he had a default bond especially).

No character jacks can only have the bonds referred to in the rules book on p.247 which if you read the affinity rules on p.82 they refer to the bonding on the above listed page of 247 not the epic caster bonds.

I'm sorry, what are you trying to argue? That Beast 09 cannot bond to ESorscha?

The rules state specifically under the Affinities section:


The warjack gains the affinity when controlled by any verson of the warcaster listed in the name of the ability. A character warjack with an affinity can be bonded to that warcaster. And further under the Epic Warcaster Bonding Section:


These bonds follow the rules given in Appendix B: Warjack Bonds except as noted here. Do not roll on the bond effect tables for these bonds. Their effects are described in the epic warcaster's special rules.ESorscha can bond with Beast, it was perfectly legal in Mk I and it's still perfectly legal in Mk II.

yawn...back on topic. I really think you need another warjack of some kind. the decimator would work well on the turn before contact or even the behemoth.
