The more I play Barnabas, the dirtier I feel. Anyone else experience this when swamp hoppin' your gators to victory?

You are a dirty player. Don't blame it on the walking luggage.
Barnabas is a strong caster, perhaps the strongest of the Minion Locks. He's got a great spell list, good in melee, a solid feat and solid choices for his army.
But notice that the Minion forces have been out less than half a year, and it's not a force that a lot of people have had experiance playing against. Given time, I think folks may get the hang of it.

Sometimes...really depends on the matchup. His feat + swamp pits can be devastating against certain lists.
But my meta has a lot of bricks, armor, and anti-knockdown stuff which can make for a very frustrating game for Barnabas. I've been using Calaban and Barnabas about 50/50 depending on the matchup.

He's no cheesier then any other caster/lock I use. I like my beat stick support casters. Karchev and the Vlads are my go-to for Khador.
Usually I'm up against Trolls, Circle, Khador and a sprinkling of Skorne. My opponents know gators well enough that I have to still think in order to keep from getting my rear ceremonially handed to me.

He's super cheesy vs some lists. When even I come up vs a ranged caster I feel just a small twinge of sadness before I completely demolish them with little to no resistance.

I played against him for the first time with my Dwarves (Gorten). I was playing against an average player (who I taught to play) and basically thought I had the game in the bag, Solid Ground was going to make his feat null and void and I could get by against the no shooting. Well I couldn't. I did not think things through, was outdone in melee and damage transference. Honestly Crocs were a lot more stronger than I thought and had enough tricks to shut down my auto pilot tactics that win me many games. Was embarrassing and an eye opener. Have seen Ret and Cygnar players almost give up after their 2nd turns.
I now play in dirty swamp water with the rest of you Croc players, yet to have a game with them but LOVING painting these guys for basing creativity alone!!!
