I've been thinking on what model(s) I might try to paint for some painting competitions and I'd like to have a go with a Khador one. Which one, in your opinion, has the best sculpt, pose and paintability?

eIrusk I'd say. Just look at the guy

demo corps kaptain.
lots of blank space for blending/weathering, a face, the ice maul..
you can show off a lot of techniques if you plan it right.
But I'm a big fan of that model and the MoW aesthetic in general, so take that with a grain of salt :)
Along that same line, the Drakhun for similar reasons but added to that is a centerpiece feel and a dynamic pose.

I think drago is the best mini khador has. I enjoyed painting him.

Depends on if you want a Caster or unit/solo.
I feel that caster wise eIrusk just simply looks phenomenal.
The old Witch has so much detail you can really go to town with her as well

I'd say Drago as well. Best pose, size, surface area for blending and you can do a lot with minor positioning modifications to make him look great. Otherwise, eIrusk. Just simply the most epic pose in our whole army.

Depends on your ability to convert and green stuff.
Model off of the shelf? eIrusk, Koldun Lord, Karchev, a Great Bear.
Converted? Beast 09

I hate all of you with good eyes and steady hands...
And fantastic gallery, Totengraber. I look forward to seeing what you do with the Motherland's models.

The new pButcher.
Hes a great sculpt, with lots of "flat" areas that need shading into 3d. Lots to play with.

Juggernaut Extreme
Lots of flat surface to show off your smooth painting skills and free hand, He is massive and exceptionally posable which gives you a lot of out of the box options, and don't discount the wow power something massive gives.

If money is no object, Drago is the most beautiful model in the whole PP line. Drakhun is tons of fun (and looks great). Widowmaker Kapitan, the previously mentioned Demo Corps Kapitan, eSorcha and the lowly Manhunter are all wonderful sculpts. Then I'll also say that the new pButcher is the next thing that I must buy just so I can paint him.

Greylord Koldun solo. Just look at the one from the Gencon pictures. Serious man love for Commander Y. I think that beats the second and third place entries in solo models.
I think the Drakhun is actually a poor choice. Too much of a singular color is used on the model in most schemes. You'd really have to mix it up or get some well-done battle damage going to break up the dominate red.

I'm not that great with the ol' GS, so as little conversion as possible is good. I have done a warrior model (Blackclad Wayfarer) two years ago and managed to pull an Honorable Mention and pic in NQ, so I'm hoping to do a bit better this year.
I think Drago is the jack of choice and eIrusk is the warrior-sized model of choice, though I do really like a lot of the other options thrown out there. I would try to do an Extreme Jugger, but I don't really need another Jugger in my collection. However, the Extreme Destroyer looks pretty cool and is very posable. what are the thoughts on that one? Perhaps waiting for the plastic jacks and doing some posing in it would work better?
Thanks for the replies!
