I will not preface this post with apologies for asking noob questions, I will simply let my questions speak for themselves :D

1) Is it possible to roll more than three dice for any reason? (A unit with the weapon master ability making a charge attack should get four dice of melee damage)

2) The Imprison spell states that models can not move into or out of the perimeter for any reason, but does not say they can not attack through the perimeter (ranged or melee). I mean, it's a wall, why should attacks be allowed to pass through, but the rules do not clarify this point...

3) If a model in a unit is knocked down when the unit fails a command check vs. fleeing, is the knocked down model considered fleeing even though it can not actually flee?

4) Since a model's melee range is in its front arc, would it get a free strike against an enemy in melee that circles around to its rear arc?

5) Does anybody else think that the Circle of Orberos has some insane DEF across the board? :D

1) An attack can only be BOOSTED once (which would make three dice on any non-Weapon Master model). Any ability, spell or feat that ADDS AN ADDITIONAL DIE can stack multiple times. So a Weapon Master on a charge would indeed roll four dice on his charge attack. On any non-charge attacks it would only roll three.

2) There could be an errata to this I really do not know. Rule of thumb: Do what the card states, try not to interpret it in terms of fiction or real life situations, you'll go mad.

3) If an ability (or massive casualties) causes a unit to fail a command check all members of the unit either pass or fail. Only out of formation troopers (or spells affecting MODELS) force individual checks. Always check for MODEL vs. MODEL/UNIT in the wording.

4) Any enemy model moving out of (or through and ending out of) a model's melee range is subject to a free strike at +2 to hit and an additional die of damage. Knocked Down models have no melee range and cannot make free strikes.

5) I've been staying out of the Hordes Mk II Field Test. It's a zoo in there :P.
