Hey , i got my box the other day and i discovered that it only contained 4/6 axes and on 2 of these where thralls hold axes with both hands the hands on the axes are more than a hand width wider than the the connecting parts on the model itself , so i cant glue them together since they are so much apart.
Has anyone else had this problem and how have you sorted it out?

Ive emailed eufrontdesk about it but if they send me replacement axes that still dont fit the models what do I do? Since you cant pin something that far apart.

Have the connecting arms been bent/misshaped in transit?
Maybe try tweaking them into a more central position and aligning with the weapon.

Sadly, any model that has two hands on the same weapon often suffers a little when it comes to assembly. Ask my Cyclops...

My Bane Thralls were pretty good TBH, although I got the wrong single hand axes for a few, it actually added a bit of variety to the unit. The two hand guys were pretty good. It might be caused by mold slip or even wear as they are some of the earliest PP models now, lets face it.

Hope that helps a bit. Send some pics if you can and we can advise more accurately.

Cheers.

Jon.

Yeah, I just put a dozen of these guys together, you'll need to "pinch" the arms closer to establish a decet fit. It' pretty easy and can be done simply with your fingers. A pair of needle nose plier would work too.

I did not have a problem with my bane thralls. Two of the axes are very similar in hand position...be sure you are using the right axe for the right pose.

Unfortunately it's not the arms on the model that ate too far apart but th bits on the axe. I'll post when home

Bending the arm inwards still works... It's not perfect, but it doesn't shows that much when glued.

See what i mean. Im afraid if i bend the arm that far out it will break.

In gaming--not just PP but all games where there's models to assemble--I have come to fear two-handed weapons. There's just too much headache. I still have nightmares about assembling my Steelhead Halbrediers.

Yea, sorry to say that is the way they are. I bent the arm a little bit to fit better and filled in any gaps with greenstuff.

Youd think such a miscast would be discovered at the point of production the arms being nowhere near close where they supposed to be.The worst bit wasnt that this was miscast it was that i was missing 2 axes alltogether and i still havent heard anything back from eufrontdesk . And usually they are really fast to deal with this kind of stuff.

It looks like your model's left arm has been bent inward at some point, mine were a perfect match to that axe.

It has been a long time since I put together my Bane Thralls, but if I remember correctly there were two different sets of axes to match the different poses. They looked very similar, but did not come close to fitting when paired with the "wrong" body. Maybe you are running into that.

Also, it often takes some time to get a response from the front desk.
