T1G Presents: O.G.R.E. Fest
Organized Games Regional Exhibition Festival

What is O.G.R.E. Fest?
O.G.R.E. Fest is 2 days of tournaments for Warmachine/Settlers of Catan/Dominion/Magic/ZoxSo/Pathfinder and more.

Why do I want to go to a T1G run Warmachine Tournament?
Because.

We offer rapid fire $5 events from 10am until midnight Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st with 100% of the entry fee being returned as prize support. $15 in store credit to 1st and $5 in store credit to 2nd. And for each event you participate in and each match you win we give you a point.

Then on Sunday we tally everyones scores and select a Top X based on attendance to play in a FREE steamroller tournament with first place getting a Siege Machine and other excellent prizes to runners up.

Also at Noon on Sunday we will offer an additional $20 4-round steamroller tournament where the winner again gets their very own Siege Machine. Of course prize support for the runners up!

Note: Siege Machine prize support will come in the form of store credit so that you can pick out your very own machine that fits your faction. Or to flush out a new list your building with something else.

And if thats not enough T1G offers some quirky alternatives as well.
$5 Caster Deathmatch: 8 people, 1 round table, 1 caster + 5 pts (caster points may be used on any model/unit on top of the base 5), 2 minute turns. Each time you kill a caster we will present you with a choice draught root beer. The winner with the most caster kills walks away with an additional 6-pack and 2nd place gets a consolation 3-pack. In case of a tie - last caster standing determines winner.

$15 4-Player Super Competitive My Army Is Better Than Your Army Mode:
Ruleset is the same as our rapid fire events and still awards points. The difference? Winner walks away with $60 in store credit and bragging rights.

FAQ:
The entry into O.G.R.E. Fest as a whole costs $10 a day or $6 a day if you preregister. Preregistration begins June 6th and will be available through several local participating game stores.
T1G has handed out 24 free preregistration passes for store prize support between Uncle's Games in Redmond and Crossroads and Games & Gizmos in Redmond.

Why are you charging a per day door fee of $10 or $6 if you preregister?
1) By preregistering you enable us to better judge the amount of product we will need.
2) We have to pay rent at this location. However, our aim is to break even on O.G.R.E. -Fest and give players as much value for their time/money as we can. So any above cost income will feed back into prize support.

Why don't we want to make money?
We do. Just not off players. To T1G community is sacred and we wish to do everything we can to grow our community.

Will there be food?
We are currently accepting bids and negotiating a spot for a vendor to come and sell food at the event. There is also a wealth of restaurants within 3 a block radius of our event. So you won't have to starve!

What non-Warmachine events will O.G.R.E. Fest cater to?
Will our Magic be sanctioned?
Nope. Due to the feedback we received during the BC Winter Event people wanted us to either go strictly sanctioned or strictly unsanctioned. And as we wish to cater to everyone who likes to play magic sanctioning events seems counter-intuitive.

Whats in it for collectors?
How about a card alterations artist/vendor:
Mike "Petal Collector" Saroca will have a booth open both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you want to start drooling check out his work here.

For the full details on our magic events please see our website at t1-gaming.com/ogrefest (http://t1-gaming.com/ogrefest) or our indepth link at northwestmagic.com (http://www.northwestmagic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4285)

Settlers of Catan Tournament:
Saturday starting at 12:00 $12 ($10 entry if preregistering) with prize support including a commemorative edition of settlers. Mayflower is throwing in a literal ton of prize support as well from pins, maps and playing cards to water bottles, bumper stickers and bags.

Dominion Tournament:
Sunday starting at 12:00 $12 ($10 entry if preregistering) with prize support equally as generous as with Catan.

ZoxSo Tournaments:
Each day we will be running several ZoxSo demos and beginner tournaments which can win you a copy of this awesome game.

Further, we will be running two ZoxSo competitive tournaments for players who want more of a challenge which will award not only Deluxe Editions of ZoxSo but also seed players into the world championships for ZoxSo held two weeks later at Dragonflight. This of course includes day passes to Dragonflight for these two lucky individuals as well. More details to come.

Pathfinder:
Is online and we will have events running for this as well now.

And more non-tournament and free play options for boardgames/tabletops/card games/role playing.

How can we voice dissent in more than just forum postings?
