View Full Version : Epic Haley and Epic Stryker 50 (Unfinished)
I would like to have two of my 50 point armies pro-painted in the near future and since I am going to be spending quite a bit on them I would like them to be as tight as possible. I almost have both lists completed but I would like some advice and suggestions on how to round them out. Any and all comments would be most welcome. Thanks for your time.

eHaley needs a Defender.
eHaley needs a Defender.
I was thinking of running a Defender marhalled to the ATGM Officer but I'm short the 2 points I need to also run Strangewayes to make the marshalled Defender a really good option. At 9 points I feel the Defender is a tad costly without Strangewayes in the list to really make it shine. I have considered just dropping the Journeyman to include Strangewayes, but I don't know that I want to lose the Arcane Shield which will more that likely be on the Thunderhead most every game because at 12 points I just can't afford to have it wrecked.

eHaley - Turn THead into SC, drop JR, add Defender/Arlan (or hunter) Min SGs if needed, though SBs work very well with eHaley too. Especially with Stormclad*.
I'm beginning to see that the Thuderhead might be just out of points reach because of all the other models I would like to run, so I've reworked the eHaley list keeping all the suggestions I've had so far in mind. The new lists looks super solid. Thanks for all your help.

SC, beatstick that he is, makes great use of the eHaley Bond. Thead, can't. Thead is a jack you'd take if you didn't plan on running any anti-infantry like ATGMs, B13, or stuff,, as he can mostly take their place, but with them, you have to watch your placement, and he's not the best at cracking heavy armor.
I don't think SGs are a great fit, but it's a good list.

I replaced the SGs with SBs and now I have a little more synergy with the Stormclad. Free focus is a very good thing for eHaley.
I would still like a little advice on how to round out my eStryker list. Thanks!

Arlan Strangewayes, a Lancer, and perhaps your favorite merc solo or a trio of stormsmiths?
A Lancer can be worthwhile with eStryker simply for Rebuke...

A Lancer is not a bad idea, but I like playing eStryker very close to the front and the only time I usually cast Rebuke is to keep a unit that is already within 10" from wrecking him.
I've added some solos and I'm close to completing the list. Thanks for all your help.
