Honestly, most of the Kara love has been joking response to other forums going insane with fear about her, when all we know are the stats on her gun and, possibly, the name of a spell or her feat.

I agree, most of the commentary in this forum is in response to the widespread panic that seems to be erupting in other forums at the appearance of a RNG 14 POW 12 Weaponmaster.

I fully expect her to not fall into the "god tier", and be a middling caster which is at least partially reliant on having warjacks in her army. Perhaps a less schizophrenic version of Kraye. In fact, I'm kind of hoping for such, or at least someone that I can run with my Trenchers that won't make me feel as bad as running Siege does... XD

In all honesty: The Kara love is pure comedy and not to be taken seriously.

But we all know: Kara Sloane puts the fear of Kara Sloane in every living being. Fear of God went out of style ever since she was announced. :D Ask Cryx if you don´t believe me. :)

Nobody is really hyping up Kara Sloan out of legitimate expectations. I started a couple of the other threads as a parody of the ones created by factions raging about how broken the model was based on just the stats of her gun. I tried using sound reasoning in these doom threads about Kara and it just wouldn't stick, the negativity and deep-rooted hate persisted.

... So, to heck with it, embrace it. Kara Sloan is the most awesome caster in the game, and she trumps all other casters. I'm pretty sure this is what PP invented the game for, and we've all just been waiting the decade since the game's inception for the first coming of Kara (afterwards, time is measured in AKS for After Kara Sloan). Also, I hear that Superman wears Kara Sloan underwear.
