I am having a hard time deciding on a 35 pt list for elich. Basically it comes down to do I want bile thralls or not, I don't see how I can't take them but they restrict my other troops heavily.

Here is my list:

eLich
-Nightwretch
-Nightwretch
Combine
Tartarus
Gorman
Siren
Bile Thralls x6
Bane Thralls x6
Bane Knights x10

If I do bile thralls I can't put the bane thrall UA in there and I can't take the extra support like a pistol wraith or second siren. What do you guys think :)?

I can't see playing him without Gerlack. Besides the fact that on feat turn he can kill a damaged caster he has many other uses as well. He i can be hidden in caustics mists along with eLich and Tartarus and now that the feat is not incorporeal he can be an effective tool to clear out infantry to open charge lanes. I can't seem to find a way to get him in the list. If you drop Gorman you still need 1 point. The WSC are nice to upkeep hell bound but other than that I don't see them being that needed with the eLich. Asphyxious usually uses 6 focus a turn leaving you with 1 and that one is the one that you could use to upkeep hell bound.

Removing gorman is the last thing and probably the worst thing you could do in any list ever.
As far as the combine goes, along with upkeeping spells and removing upkeeps, they guarantee your excarnate will go off with the reroll and also allow you to snipe of models getting to close.
If you cast excarnate and boost to hit and roll a 4 you're done and its all down hill. the only models that are optional to me would be bane thralls and bile thralls.

You don't need Gerlak. Gaspy does nothing to help him hit reliably, and he's too dice dependent to clear out lots of infantry without a buff in his MAT. Too many other things like tough and self-sac shut him down. On the feat, he's not any more likely to hit that a bane and the bane thrall officer hits at a higher MAT.

If you're taking bane thralls, you want the UA in there. I'd take a min unit + UA over max without any day of the week with Gaspy.

You don't really need 2 arc nodes. It'll free up some points for more troops.

Gaspy doesn't help anyone hit more reliably.
Unlike Bane thrall officer he has reach. Invaluable in these days of double-nerfed feat.

Nah. Those are just random characters to make get though min char limit.

But uh... 10 bane knights + tartarus = 11 reach models o.o
3 points for 1 more is worth is how ? :O

Right, but you aren't paying 3 points alone for 1 attack with Banes. For the same cost the officer hits at MAT 9 with tartarus with 2 attacks, brings along the standard bearer for a 3rd attack, and you get tough and dead rise. With Gerlak you pay for extra abilities like overtake so you want to make sure you're getting use out of that. Also, being a medium base doesn't help when you're trying to get as many banes as possible into melee with a small based caster. Having reach helps, but tartarus will already be there taking up space. Also, if you aren't charging a living model, his range is less impressive. He's not bad by any means, but especially at 35 points not everything can make it in. You already have everything that he can do basically with banes, so you'd be better off finding 1 more point and getting Darragh Wrathe in for more utility and a faster bane horde.
