MKII card deck?

Seeing it is the 20th of January, and I haven't received my pre-ordered cards yet, I was wondering if anyone has the new deck and would like to share some spoilers/differences from the 'final' PDF.

Ya, the wording is slightly tweaked. The only real change to explosivo is that it does not effect a spray. Other than that it follows the previous rulings set out for it.

Other than that I have not seen any real changes throughout the deck. There may be one or two, but nothing significant - although there IS new artwork for a number of cards (Madhammer, pMagnus, Alexia, Sam & the Devil Dogs, etc..).

I'm disappointed that for some reason there's only 2 Mule and Nomad cards but for some crazy reason there's 3 Mariner and 4 Buccaneer cards.

And sorry Searforge players, there's only 2 Bokur cards.

They needed that many Buccaneer cards? Why not throw in a Long Gunner, Gun Mages, or Kayazy Assassins, etc etc. Honestly who uses 4 Buccaneers? Are you sure that's correct Moorg?

My deck was roughly the same except that I got 3 Buccaneers and 4 Talons. I have no clue who would ever run 4 Talons... but you get the cards for it.

The Khador deck I got was just as strange. It had 5 Destroyers (yes, I said FIVE), and 4 Mauraders. While I think the Destroyer is good, I have no clue who would ever use 5 of the things. And 4 Marauders has to be some kind of joke. I hardly ever see even one of them on the table, let alone 4. Not to mention that anyone who plays Khador and buys the plastic warjack box will get one card of each heavy the box makes. So Khador players are gonna be drowning in heavy jack cards.

My only complaint is that I would have liked a 3rd Bokur card (not that I ever expect to run 3 Bokur in mkII), a 3rd Driller, and more Nomad cards. It seems rather silly to put only 2 Nomad cards in the deck and yet have 3 Freebooters.

I would have really liked that third Mule card. It's not too uncommon for me to field 3 of them with Ashlynn or Bart.

Guess what we'll have to do is bring an old MKI card for any extra models assuming they have the same damage boxes just to mark damage, we can use the MKII cards for rules reference.

I got mine today too. No changes from Mk II (online) as far as I can tell. I, too, wonder at the abundance of some of the jack cards.

I got a Cygnar one too...for, like, 4 cards. :rolleyes:

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it is. That would be the picture of Ashlynn witnessing the fall of Llael. NQ 19 I think?

Good. I really disliked that intermediate image they used for her in the FDMKII. The first and latest are way better, IMO.

My list is a bit different. I have only two Buccaneer cards. Otherwise the same. I can't believe they put in three Talons. I don't even know anyone who has bought a Talon outside of the the Magnus boxset.

The Ashlynn art is the one from the later NQ where she is weaping and holding the flag. It's nice piece but I still like the original NQ #1 art better, and was kind of hoping that her new art would reflect her butt kicking stats.

The card choices seem a bit odd - though, I imagine I can find other players wanting to trade for all the merc cards I won't be using;)

I was one of those people that bought 2 talons - but, that was only because I bought 2 Magnus battleboxes ;)

Might be cheaper just to order off the PP store since I only need Rhulic stuff and a hand full of solos, either that or trade away all the pirate things for more Rhulic.
