View Full Version : Am I imagining things or am I missing parts?

So I was sitting there pondering the construction of my dreaded Steelheed Halbs when I recalled some mention of them having shoulderpads.
I peered at the art on the box--sure enough, some of them had shoulderpads.
I then peered at the contents of my box. No shoulderpads. For that matter, I had only 5 halbards.
I'm pretty sure I didn't manage to lose an entire sprue of something--I did almost lose a holster for my Calv, but that's a bit different.
So am I missing something (else) from my box of halbs, or am I delusional?

easiest way to check would probably be to look in the parts store and see what they have.

If I had internet at home I'd have a lot less modeling done...

according to the store there are indeed separate shoulder plates. they're great about sending out replacements, especially with their new portal. just save the packing slip number that came in the box.

I wanted an excuse to put off assembling them anyway. I'm a wuss and just looking at the arms made my eyes cross.

I'm still waiting to see how great they are since I didn't get any answer for 3 days already about my wold guardian miscast body. Hope it will go smooth in the end.

it went very smooth for me. if you use the portal, they won't send you notifications, you'll need to log back in to check the status. i had a mispack and a miscast within a day or so of each other and i got both sets of parts in about a week or so.

Also keep in mind that it is con season... and some places are running on half staff or so.

So far the tally is:
Missing all shoulder pads
Missing the sgt's halb
Have three right-armed halbs and two left armed halbs, but all of my free floating arms are left arms
...I think I have all the mispacks for my entire army in one bloody unit.
We won't talk about the broken halb, either.
I remain amused, however.

I had two boxes both come w/o shoulderpads, but 3 blisters all did, so I don't really know what that means. I ordered more anyway cause I wanted everybody to have two.

I had a similar problem, one box had no shoulders at all, 2 blisters were each missing one halberd. My experience with the portal has been bad so far. Been almost 2 weeks just waiting on a mk2 card replacement and still havent recieved it yet. I personally enjoyed the old replacement system, when you actually had a person email you if they had questions and told you when they were shipped.

I am having a problem right now with some Bane Thrall blisters. one was missing 2 shoulder pads and the other three, both were missing back spines and one was missing an ax.
It gets me a little worried when I start seeing this many miss-packs.

I had some bog trog Ambushers and the main guy was missing his head... Was in my hands within a week. Then I was missing an upper body piece to my Spriggan and that took... 2 months to get then they sent me two...

I have plenty of other things to paint, but they're the backbone of my army at all poitn levels, so I've been using random space marines and stuff for now when I actually play. That's...mildly entertaining.
I requested some missing small bases for a blister of praetorians many months ago, havent heard anything, same with my press ganger app. Kinda dissapointing, as much as I hear about PP's customer service. I do have epicly bad luck with pretty much anything corporate though (automated phone lines, ugh!). It's sad that a company that I promote religiously and spend too much time playing with their products ignores their customers. I hope they are just swamped and not falling off.
