Is there any plan for Privateer Press to sell a Mercenary version of the Plastic Heavy Jacks that have recently been released?

Have not heard of anything yet. I think the only one this could be done with is the Ghordson Driller etc, maybe with the Freebooter/Mariner. Most of the other Mercenary jacks are too different looking to run a plastic kit on I think.

I really expected the Avalancher to coincide with the release of plastic Rhulic jacks, but they appear to be sticking with metal for those. I feel like the Mercs aren't quite ready for a plastic jack otherwise.

I'd love to see a Nomad/Mule/Luchadore kit... but Mercs are often the odd man out (we still don't have a character warjack... but do have a character piece of artillery...)

What's that?

Herne and John (spelling?) would be my immediate guess, but I don't know enough to be certain :)

Luchadore is a mexican wrestler.

Luchadore is a mexican wrestler.
I know that, why he listed it as a Warjack?

I would guess as idle speculation/because he needed a name for a postulated third warjack in the kit, and pulled a cool sounding name out of the air.

Shame that the mercenaries aren't getting a plastic kit. I too thought that the Avalancher heralded a Rhulic box, but alas no. It would have been an ideal opportunity to introduce some new warjacks for other mercenary warcasters as well.

Bad Mr_Smigs. Don't confuse new players with your idle speculation.

As to a plastic kit I wouldn't hold my breath. Merc jacks tend to be pretty eclectic. The Rhulic heavies are the closest, but although structurally similar, the Avalancher has a lot of differences in the details on every part of the jack. The Nomad/Mule have the same issues despite being on the same chassis fluff-wise.

If they do make a plastic kit it will most likely be Nomad/Mule/Mangler and maybe a new missile jack. Since these jack share the same chasis.

There's possibilities for plastic kits, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm honestly surprised that the Avalancer/Driller/Rockram Isn't a plastic kit, but until the Avalancher is in my hands, i won't discount the possibility.

Aside from those three (and maybe a gunner kit), Merc Jacks are very individual, so a universal kit would be hard to pull off.
