View Full Version : How many Bunnies would be too much?

Right now I'm running three gun bunnies, straight from the battle box basiclly. I've been toying around with the idea of running two more on Gorten and maybe two more on Thor to relieve Gorten of focus strain. Even with using Madhammer it would only be one more bunny.

Probably wouldn't be very competitive on the table but might be fun to play with. I was only wondering because of over hearing players talk baout their "Lancer Fleets" and figured, what the hell gun bunnies are cheap enough right.

I found 4-5 Bunnies is generally enough with Gorten - One focus to upkeep solid ground and 1 to each gunbunny.

Theres very little I've found that can stand up to 5 boosted Gunbunnies in one turn, especially casters who no longer have their screen in the way thanks to Landslide.:)

There is no such thing as too many Gunbunnies.

im usually light on the bunnies, one gunner and one blaster for durgen. 2 gunners and a blaster for gorten. maybe one more on each if its purely seaforge, but gorten sees more play with 4star and durgen more play with 4star and highborn.

I typically run light on bunnies (I have a fondness for the Rockram to back them up), but I remember seeing gunbunny spam lists in Mk I that looked amusing, and they're probably even better in Mk II.

I'd recommend taking MacNaile if you're spamming Gunners, because his mini-feat can make them even better. :3 Too bad he can't do much for Blasters...

Gorten FOC + 1

Unless you have Thor, then it's

Gorten FOC + 3

Or gun bunny spam...

For Bunny spam, I like Four gun-bunnies and one blast-bunny on Durgen, Two gun-bunnies and one blast-bunny on Gorten.

I remember it working well enough in MkI with the right back-up... but I think that ranged lovin' has less power in MK II than is evident in my current meta. I don't know the lists that you're facing where you are, but I have to bring more melee to the table than ranged. Bunny spam i not condusive to this.

I normally run five gunners and two blasters, but that is more to do with a limitation on how many I own. Answer: there is no such thing as too many bunnies, only not enough.

With Durgen I usually dont need more than 2 blasters, but when I will start using Gorten I will definitly buy two gunner's :)

The advantage to playing more bunnies than focus is that you never have wasted focus so you can play them aggressively and lose a couple.

i own 7 gunners and 2 blasters. with the MKII rules for blasters i need to get a few more.

I think it's on topic, so I'll just ask here and now: Does Powerful Shot boost the attack/damage against all targets under the template?

Yes, it does! :D

I have three of each gun-bunny, and usually don't run them all at once. Thor usually gets a Blaster, and the 'caster gets at least one Gunner and one Blaster, depending on what I feel like that day.
