Just a quick note to those who might be interested in coming out to Emerald Knights in Burbank, CA. We have an enthusiastic group of people looking to start or restart playing, so we are looking at doing a 15 point list, standard caster kill format, on Thursday, September 8th. Let me know if you are interested, so I can make sure we have the space!

Did EK ever get 4'x4' or 4'x6' tables? Or do they still just have the smaller tables from before?

They have wooden table tops to lay across the tables upstairs.

Ah, very nice. Once you guys get rolling and maybe do some tournaments in the future, I may come on down. Sadly, thursdays are the same day we play at Game Empire.

I know, and I wish I could go down there, because I learn alot from the players there. This is for the guys who can't make it down to Game Empire, and there seem to be quite a few. I am hoping to do a once-a-month tournament on a weekend day. I will be sure to post when we do.

Im Down, I dont go to the gaming empire anymore since the owner yelled at my friend for looking to buy a Hordes army...

Sorry to hear you had that experience. Just so you know, most of us are either new, or getting back into the game, and we are purposefully starting small. If that sounds good to you, come on out. I am looking into the next league, but we might have to do a home grown one this time around.

We have a great group starting our journeyman league, which we are doing in a little longer timeframe to accomodate for player's schedules. Our first "official" journeyman day is Sunday, October 9th, but you can get in games on Thursday nights, too. Up to 26 players in our Journeyman League! We play on Thursday nights for casual and/or league play. We start up at about 6pm, so come out and get a game in!
