View Full Version : Gen Con Mispacks

So I was finally unpacking all my loot from Gen Con, getting ready to start assembling all of the Warmachine goodies that I picked up from PP, when I noticed I had some mispacks. I'm guessing (hoping) that I was in the minority for this, but I was wondering if anyone else had noticed problems with their purchases.
I purchased: Sylys Wyshnalyrr, eAlexia, and the 2-Player Battle Box.
The mispacks I had were:
eAlexia was missing the tail for her horse. It came with two horse heads and this odd looking mini-cape kinda piece.
All four dice in the 2P BB had a small gouge in them.
I was missing a medium base from the 2P BB (from a Cinerator).
The body for a Cinerator didn't match the arms or head that it was packaged with (different model than the one missing the base).
Holy multiple mispacks, Batman! I guess whoever was packing the Cinerators needed to drink a Red Bull or something. I've purchased over 100 points of Cygnar and Mercs without ever having a packing problem, so I guess I was due. Please note, this is not a bash on Privateer. I understand mistakes happen. I was just curious, did anyone else have problems?

being hand packs and early runs packers may not be familiar with the pieces (if you have ever worked in a factoty you know how this is) leading to a higher rate of miss-packs. I tend to see more issues with new releases than older things.

I didn't have any mispacks but I would suggest contacting PP I think it's adam@frontdesk or so is the one or you can pm PPS_Alex who also can relay the messages. They will sort you out.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I've already submitted a ticket via the new replacement system, so that process is underway. By no means was this intended to be a bash Privateer thread, I was just trying to see if anyone else noticed the same issues, especially with the 2-Player Battle Box.

frontdesk@privateerpress.com is the correct email address.

So just as a followup, I got all my replacement parts today. PP really went out of the way to make sure all my issues were addressed. Kudos to PP for taking care of this so quickly.

Out of curiosity was there a little slip of paper in there that said '211'? I dread opening a box/blister and seeing that piece of paper...

I didn't see a packing slip in the box, however when I first opened it and pulled out all the goodness its quite possible it fell out.

What does 211 signify? I have no idea why that would be important to you Chopsworth.

You got Wyshnalyrr at Gen Con? Your needs are forfeit. :P

What 211's have you had that were wrong?
My two player set included a cruel joke. I pulled out the cards first and found a card for bastions...not cinerators....I quickly checked the contents...alas the models dd not match the cards.

Mine was missing a repenter head, but luckily I already had 2 and my wife had several spare heads kicking around from her cygnar heavy warjack Kit. The Cyclone's head actually looks pretty spiffy on there.

As a matter of fact, I had the same issue. I didn't look at the cards very close when I first opened the box. I also got 2 Juggernaut cards (just an extra, not an accidental replacement).

Unless I miss my guess, Chopsworth packs for PP and 211 is his ID number.

So you were missing a pkaya? How was Ragman mispacked? Isn't it a one piece?

he has a hand that's extra. I was missing pkaya's body and in it's place was ragman's body.

I think I've had a couple of 211 mispacks, as well. My problem is that I get my models in batches, and I get all excited and open them up and tend to get the number slips mixed up. My most recent mispacks were a missing medium base in a Horthol box, a missing card for Skaldi Bonehammer, and an entire missing Bone Grinder figure in my Bone Grinder blister. A friend was missing an entire Khador weapon crew figure except its arm, but the pack included a Cygnar figure that was, in turn, missing an arm.
I'm awaiting my ninja'd purchases from PAX. Hoping they're not all mispacked as well.

I assure you, I am not 211. I was just making a comment how about most of my mispacks are from 211.

You know I just opened up a box of stormguard (while reading this thread) that are all missing their legs, packed by none other than Mr. 211
