Well, the new rules let me combine my love for the Dorfs and the Gun Mages, so here's what I may pick up:
15 Points:
-7 Gorten
+7 Derpjack
+6 Gun Mages
+2 The Dude
+5 Vanguard (Best 'jack for the points in the game, IMHO.)
+2 Thor or Gorman
(Too bad I can't fit a Mule/Mariner in at 15 points.:()
And then expand it to:
25 Points:
-7 Gorten
+3 Shotgunbunny
+7 Derpjack
+6 Gun Mages
+2 The Dude
+8 Mariner or Mule
+2 Thor
+2 McNaile
+2 Gorman
Derpjack and the ATGM take care of heavies (gogo thunderbolt) Shotgunbunny and Mariner/Mule/Derpjack Flak Field kill infantry easily.
(The reason I'm considering a Mariner over a Mule is simple - 23" Threat Range or 19" with a d3" pushback or crit Brutal damage. It's a much more Mobile 'jack, while the Mule is an artillery battery with a 16" threat range. Plus, Lash is a nice bonus given Gorten's small control range and limited focus to use solid ground.)
