Hey fellow commanders and generals,

After looking over the Trencher Grenade Porter card from Mark II I have a few questions.

1. What is the POW of the 3" AOE, on the card it simply reads a ranged attack with a 3" AOE? I'm guessing the POW of the rifle but am not sure.

2. Is the old rule of other trenchers who are in B2B contact with the porter having the ability to fire grenades gone? It's not on the card so I'm guessing it is?

3. Is the intent for a unit add on like this now to have 2 or 3 per unit instead of the old rule of having one per entire unit?

I've done some searching but couldn't find anything that addresses the porter. I hope I've not posed questions that have already been asked. Thanks so much for your time and thoughts.

1: Yep, normal rifle attack with the added AOE
2: Yep, gone
3: You can indeed have several of this particular UA in one unit :)

Technically it's a Weapon Attachment (WA) not a Unit Attachment (UA).

You can have up to three of these guys in a unit (from the "upto 2 additional" part of the point cost).

Field Allowance for Weapon Attachments is a little confusing-
in the case of the Trencher Grenade Porter (now called a Rifle Grenadier), the field allowance is 2, and you can have up to 3 per unit.

The blast damage would be POW 6, while a direct hit will take a POW 11 damage roll.

So how does that work? Does this mean you can field up to 3 in a trencher unit, and then if you have another trencher unit you can field 3 more with that second unit?
