I've been thinking of a list like this for a while:
pButcher
-Beast09
Max IFP+UA
Max Kayazu+UA
Great Bears of Gallowswood
Greylord Ternion
War Dog
In some games, especially ones where the opponent has a lot of shooting and/or arcnodes spamming things at me before I can get to him, I've had problems with lists that have less mass. I've gotten killed before I get there. The solution, take so much hard to kill stuff that you won't be stopped in your tracks so easily.
This list has 12 effective DEF17 (Iron Flesh) ARM18 Ironfangs coming at the enemy. They move fast with the minifeat, and even if some die during the way, during pButch's feat they can slaughter just about anything (pop Fury on them while at it for some overkill.) There's also the Great Bears, who are hiding in their midst and well, everyone knows what usually happens when the Bears charge something on Butcher's feat turn.
Before the huge pile of IFP and Bears hits the enemy, the 10+UA DEF19 (Flesh to these guys before the IFP) Kayazu's will be running towards the enemy at full speed. Without extremely good luck, or nasty feats they will take a lot of effort to kill, and again even if a few die they can cause carnage with Kill Stroke, just in time before the IFP brick hits the opponent.
The last but certainly not the least wave coming right behind the brick is The Butcher himself and Beast-09, bringing that big boom finale. Greylord Ternion can be used to protect the brick with some cloud effects or spray enemy models to an icy grave depending on the situation.
In a nutshell it's 26 hard-to-kill things coming at the opponent before the Butcher and Beast-09, and with the feat even a few can cause major damage. Now I know there are counters to this (there is for everything...) but I'm asking for feedback in general, and we can presume the opponents don't know what's coming to them until the table is set (we don't have a habit of calling eachother to reveal our lists and preparing counter lists here in the north, Finland.) Usually flanking can be prevented with some maneuvering with units this large, and some casualties won't be such a big problem as they do require a lot of effort for only a few models (most of the time) if the models are placed correctly and not too close to eachother when you know there is an AOE coming. The Greylords can protect Butcher with a cloud, and he also has a War Dog for that assassination run. A Bokur could be fine too maybe? The Greylords are a bit optional, if someone has a good idea to more increase the effectiveness of the general idea in this list with 4 points or swithcing stuff in and out, let's hear it!
