Why doesn't Typhon have soulless rule?
Didn't find anything with my search-fu.

Now I do know he has his own soul. But as he also does have his own anthanc. Isn't the soul connected to it? So even killing him shouldn't give his soul to anyone. It's still connected to athanc and with time will grow it's body back. As other dragons do. And destroying athanc is pretty difficult.

Am I missing something? Will he actually die if his body is killed?

Typhon has a piece of Athanc, thus, a soul.

That's all really. And it can't die. It's pretty much a mini dragon. You destroy the body and it eventually regenerates back, just like if you kill Everblight and don't destroy the athanc or any other dragon.

Remember: fluff isn't always the same as rules.

I'm not that good with the fluff of the factions I don't play. Does there exist other models which soul can't be taken in fluff but can be taken in rules? All the others I know have soulless, construct or undead rule.
If Typhon is only exception then I would say in soul case fluff is same as rules. If there are others then it's fine.

I'd think Typhon is the only one. I can't think of any others.

They have souls because they are spawned from elves.
