I am looking to expand my army a little for MKII

So far I am starting back up into Warmachine after a 3 or 4 year hiatus.

I have a small collection so far and I do not know what to pick up next.

Part of me wants to get another unit for some infantry in the army so Doom Reavers appeal to me (I am thinking of using Zerkova as my "primary" caster with pButcher in close second). With that in mind another unit of Greylords also appeals to me, so I am not sure if either of these would work well.

As for another warjack to get I am in a mix with what to pick up. Part of me wants a Devastator, Marauder, or Spriggan.

The Devastator's 9 points is a lot for what it can do once it opens up its armor. The Marauder is nothing special but for a few focus it can charge, and slam the enemy away with combo strike. Otherwise it is nothing special. The Spriggan is a nice warjack, but again I do not know if it is worth 10 points.

The army that I have put together is:
pButcher
pSorscha
pVlad
Zerkova
Juggernaught
Destroyer
Greylords Ternion
Winterguard (min unit)
Widowmakers
Manhunter
Kholdun Lord
Wardog

So any suggestions on what to pick up next would be greatful.

Doom Reavers - Greylords - another unit of infantry
and
Marauder - Devastator - Spriggan

I haven't played Zerkova, but in general based on what you already have, filling out your winterguard might be a good idea. Filling out to a max unit of winterguard with Kovnik Jozef, the unit attachment and up to 3 rocketeers makes for a solid infantry core in mark 2 which you already own part of.

Thanks for the comment, I am thinking about that.

I have to get a few more games of MKII under my belt, but I am just wonderring if that is too many points in one squad. Sure it can preform a lot of roles, but naturally they have low DEF and ARM. Kovonik Joe would help them out though.

This + a second GL unit is cheap money wise. A second unit, with what you already have, is almost never a bad thing.
A Bokur for shield guard is a nice addition.

yeah the armor problem would be easier to overcome with a caster who has an armor buff like eSorscha, but the winter guard would make a good target for banishing ward I would think. Plus the WG generally makes a good target for your Greylords screening blizzards granting concealment and blocking line of sight for you.

I read the NQ26 recently and liked the idea of using squads that can support themselves, such as the Greylords casting blizzard to up the DEF of the Winterguard. That is why I was thinking that Doom Reavers might be a good idea... also it would give me some extra Advanced Deployment in the army.

One thing that I am tinkering with is the idea of the Assault Kommandos for the Shield Wall order.

Overall there are too many options for the units that can support each other.

The Doom Reavers are good with assault

Greylords are expensive for 3 people, but can buff the other units in the army.

Winterguard Rockets are pretty good despite the poor RAT

Assault Kommandos are nothing too special but can get a good ARM buff, and couple that with a few Blizzards they are kind of tough to take out.
