Hi, I'm Protectorate player in Korea. I'm very very unaccustomed to speak English. I hope you can understand my poor sentence.

I'm crazy about cavalry charging, and there are great mounted knights in Protectorate, Vengers! I started Protectorate with starter box, and recently I use this army.

High Exemplar Kreoss (*5pts)
* Devout (5pts)
Exemplar Vengers (Leader and 4 Grunts) (10pts)
High Exemplar Gravus (5pts)

It isn't good for victory, maybe. But when charging the cavalries, It feels really great! And surprisingly, I win four consecutive victories against Cygnar and Cryx. Next time, I'll try eleven cavalries' charge. Models are already prepared.

Now I have a question. I finished faction book recently. But I can't understand why these guys' name is "Vengers". What means "Vengers" at this time?

"Venger" is a play on Vengance. It's not a reference to any specific historical unit as far as I know.

Apparently Vengers are like Knights Exemplar in that if all of their friends are fine, then they're kind of lazy. It's only when they lose their favorite drinking buddy, then they get angry and start putting some effort into it.

According to an online dictionary Venger is the shortened form of Avenger.

Aha! I overlooked that point. Thanks for your answer. I just focused on sentences in the text. What a stupid mistake...

Its not a stupid mistake at all. I think the Protectorate book is the first time I've seen Avenger shortened to Venger and Incinerator shortened to Cinerator. They're words that most native speakers of English wouldn't even really see that often.

If you go into High Exemplar Kreoss's theme list, you can take a second unit of Vengers if you really like them that much. It's not a bad theme list either.

You, sir, just won the Exemplar game.

As for playing double Vengers, I don't think I've seen a whole lot of that being posted anywhere on the forums, so I'd be interested to hear how they play for you.

And yeah, Vengers is shortened Avengers and related to Vengeance. Nice point about Vengers/Avengers and Cinerators/Incinerators, Vinsklortho.
