Ok how the hell do you bet her I have lost to her so many times. Hiding in a forest with Typhon both stealthed. I couldn't pop and drop her since I couldn't see through the forest. I have the same problems with troll armies when going against them If I dont take grim.

Legion are the ones saying that they got nerfed and there units are under par.

What a good way of going after her...

You may want to mention who you're actually talking about. I'm assuming eLylyth with shadowpack.

What are you playing? It sounds like your answer is Rhoven and his bodyguard. Menoth's sight let's you ignore stealth/line of sight with one model. Slap that on a reckoner/vanquisher, and go to town. Vanquisher is especially nice, because she absolutely crumples to fire damage.

Are you talking specifically with Kreoss, or any caster?

If Kreoss, I'd say you need to take Rhovan, and then you need to avoid the forest. Don't play into Legion's terrain advantage.

As soon as she is out of the forest, have Rhovan give Menoth Sight to your redeemer, and then Kreoss can pop and drop as normal. A fully loaded Infused Redeemer, will be hitting on anything but snake eyes, and will being doing dice +1 damage per rocket. With a Vassal, that is 4 rockets, one of them boosted damage. Unless she is sitting on 4 fury, you probably have her.

Rhoven and his bodyguard is one unit I dont have I am really starting to see y I must get them since I only just came back to menoth after a few years away. Yeah it was elylyth.

I would also like to hear how other casters do against legion as well if thats ok. They are the most played army at my local game club.

Legion is a tough nut to crack. Their beasts have exceptional threat ranges, there locks have high defense (except Thagy and eThagy that have high armor), and they have some great animi.

Personally, I think eFeora does the best against them. She is immune to Typhon and the Carns spray breath weapon. With Escourt she gives our jacks good threat ranges. She is a high defense and armor warcaster, making the assasination run on her tough. Her bonded jack's auto fire takes out Legions needed support like Shepards and Foresaken.

All-in-all, she is win. But I think eFeora is win against most things.

I think our casters that support jacks well do well. The Legion lists that I see are beast heavy and usually drop a lot of animi to buff them. Tenacity gets spammed that adds +1Arm/Def, the Carn has an Arm buff animi, and Typhon heals when hit. So you need a lot of punch to push through all of that armor. Jacks to it the best I think.

Against Legion I think Rhovan is a must have.
