Hello
I'm Zack and I live in Salida, Colorado, and currently have no one to play WM/H with. That being said, I still have a small collection and like to paint. I've only played WM once (back when prime was new), and I've never played hordes. I'm a veteran of Games workshop/40k though, So I know enough to get by.
All my buddies play 40k, but I'm honestly getting tired of it. I have 1000's of dollars sunk into it when I (finally) realized I hate the backstory with a passion. I think WM is fresh and inventive, the game seems more about what you do during the game then during setup, the models are much better sculpted (and cast) and have more of an artistic vision, and from what I've seen, Privateer Press aren't complete jackasses like GW. (They actually seem like a customer oriented, friendly, lighthearted bunch, who love what they do. You guys are doing something right.) :D
I hope to stick around, but with no one to play, that remains to be seen.
Oh well. FWIW, hello all!
-Zack
Side Note: who was the GW person who defected to privateer press? :D I remember Andy Chambers went to Mongoose Publishing.
