No spoiler love for StormKnight Solo/Unit

Hey all

I love seeing all the new Trenchers and Commando that are coming out. I honestly love the models. Kara Sloan and the new Storm Smith artillery pieces are also a welcome sight. However, How come no love for the Storm Knight Hm!?:confused:

I have been waiting anxiously to see what this unit/solo will look like in model form that it is driving me nuts. Can there just be a little love and show us something. Just a little???

I know that the army book is out soon but it would be nice to see this. Even a blacked out shadow of the new model will be welcomed.

Outside of that, still love what you are doing and looking forward to the book. Cheers.

This is probably what we'll get..

But I'll second the mounted gun mages (since the black 13th is in the list) best of both worlds: Gun mages mounted on horses under theb commend of the CRS.....

Personally I'd be quite happy with mounted ranger style troopers.

While I'd love some mounted Gun Mages, I also love the recon theme, so some light cav rangers would make me happy as well. Especially if they are armed with Radcliffe carbines. Almost no chance of that, unfortunately.

I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of Stormguard UA. At the moment they're just overpriced and need a kick *** UA to get them back into play. <sigh>

This is kinda my thought on mounted gun mage Light calv...but if they do mounted rangers I want them shooting twice or having AD or something...Pow 10 carbines would be fine...kind of a carbine version of the Longgunner rifle (thought that seems close to a radcliff carbine)...but i do agree swordknights need some love...just not as calvary....we are the ranged faction...or calvary should be shpooting and the kraye teir implies quick hard supprise striking power...meaning ranged and fast moving...

How bout a Sword Knight UA that gives them dismantle and dismember which makes me want to paint up a unit of 12 of those suckers for some big time melee beatdown that Cygnar has always been wanting! In fact maybe I'll buy and paint up a whole big list around them! Oh that's right. We already had that and I already did that. Guess I'm a sucker huh? Well, I guess I could buy and paint up a bunch of Stormblades instead since they're apparently the new "it" unit. That's ok. I'll pass. Maybe one of the casters has a tier that gives Sks dismantle and dismember. Hah. Thanks PP. You have made me a true Khadoran because now I truly do hate Cygnar.

Kraye himself very much follows the style of early US cavalry and is an officer in the force most likely to have light cavalry, I'd be very surprised if they didn't do the unit in that style as well. That would be cavalry sabers (perhaps about P+S12) plus perhaps a revolver or a regular carbine of some sort.

I too am a bit distraught to find that the new stormnoun is a stormblade attachment rather than a stormguard attachment since they seemed to need it more, but I think both can use the help a bit. At least on the plus side if the WA turns out to be really good the unit you need to field it is a point cheaper.

He is a Stormblade Unit attachment. Sigh! I really did not want these models just to get this one but now I guess I will be field a min unit just for these (unless of course the models are substandard). It seems like there will be two men in the unit from the info I gleamed from the book on the weekend.

If it was Stormguard, no prob in getting them. Ah well, The book is nice though. Will their be more art prints of the casters and Jacks coming out though that is a question that I would love to be answered. Cheers.

Not sure how legal it is to just post the poiunt cost, but I can tell you one of them costs the same as the word I just said. :p I think for the cost and what they bring to the unit they are more than worth it, and I expect the model to rock as well. I love me some Stromblades and am so happy they get more love in this book. :D

Now in the next expension can we PLEASE have storm gaurd attachments and Light Calv...Two quick things:
1) Not sure if you left your Caps key on or what, but begging fellow Cygnar payers won't get anything into print
2) The FoW:C book is not really an expansion. True, we get new shiny things, but it's still not an expansion in the same way that giving each faction a new Jack in Prime2 isn't an expansion.

I would view the new book in light of how much new shiny stuff we are getting as an expansion. If it was 1 caster then I would agree with you. My begging was aimed at privateer press...

I came up with it off the top of my head wit the intent of making a storm gaurd UA that is different from the stormblade one. I'll admit that it a was thought up with out looking up the stormblades+ua stats and abilities...it was done strictly from memory.with about 1 monute of serious thought and was more to gerenarate thought. Perhaps your thoughts on what a stormgaurd UA might look like?

only in cygnar can we spend 6 points worth of attachments on a maximum 5 point unit, got to love it. though i was hoping for a solo when i saw the model preview art in nq im really liking the sound of the storm gunner and how it seems to complement the abilities of the ua.
