Help me help my friend expand his trollbloods.

Hey Everyone,

So my good buddy and owner of my LGS has been very busy lately as his wife is pregnant. Hes been playing the same pMadrak list hes been playing since he started Trollbloods and I want to help him try something new.

Pretty much I think Im going to buy him a new caster, someone that most of you consider top tier. So I need your help choosing one that will work with the models he already owns and is more melee based (grim and gunbjorn are out)

He has 2 Maulers
2 Impalers
1 Axer

Full Fenblades
Full Champions and Skaldi
Full Skatergunners

I know he has some solos but I dont know which ones. Hes talked about getting a new Heavy and so you can talk about what caster and what new heavy he might get.

From what I could research myself and know my friend I think eMadrak, Grissel and Calandra are who im looking at.

Also lets start with 35pts but also ideas for getting to 50pts would be great.

Jarl Skuld is a whole new feel for troll players and he loves fenblades and an impaler.

Yeah, and then you would DEFENITLY get EBDT, as he works well with pretty much any caster. I don't know enough to give anymore info, though.

Borka Kegslayer would be a great fit for the models he already has. Borka loves Fennblades, Champs, and Maulers (their chain attack is bonkers on his feat turn).

I also second what Murk said about Jarl and Fennblades, and what Dracon said about the Earthborn Dire Troll. He's good in any list you put him in.

If your friend does not already have the Fell Caller and Janissa Stonetide, those are the first solos he'll need.
