It's far from comprehensive, but I'm afraid these forums are your best bet to compile data from. There are always threads for each of the big (US) tournaments. I powerGoogle the main tournaments every now and then, and I've never found anything that was anywhere close to complete - and these forums always show up.

This game isn't like Magic or other card games where you can "netdeck" to get some huge advantage. The top tourney contenders in this game are top contenders because they're phenomenal players, not because they have the best armies. You might be able to find tourney-winning lists, but that information just isn't that useful in this game.

Sure - but it's info. We like to be informed. ;)

Moreover, some of use like to be able to point to tournament wins when we whine about something being overpowered. (j/k)

There were several lists in the last NQ.

While i completely agree that netdecking is far less advantageous in warmachine and some players even take sub-par lists to tournaments because they are looking for an element of surprise. I do think its interesting to see what lists are being taken at major tournaments and see what interesting things players have in their lists. Seeing major tournament lists still has value.

I wouldn't mind for info either. I used to play magic and definitely understand the need for people to see some tourney-winning lists. Even though this game isn't nearly as net-decky as magic is (not by a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong shot), I would like very much to have a site where we can see some lists.

The last NQ had results from GenCon. And http://warmachineweekend.com/index.php has the winning lists from all the events of the weekend. I don't know of any other major tournaments.

I'm always interested if people are just running the "groupthink" lists, or if the people who place well in tournaments are the ones who think outside of the box. There were some lists from a recent tournament posted in the Protectorate forum a couple of weeks ago, and it was disappointingly predictable.

On the other hand, if the guy running the unusual lists ends up near the bottom of the pack, well, that's something to consider too.

iBodger's website has a feature that allows you to see all of the lists that have been posted and break them down all the way down to an individual model. It's very cool. http://www.ibodger.com/iws/index.html
