By the looks of what you have, Bastions are your number one choice followed by..... maybe Exemplar Errants. The silent one really prefers a max unit of TFG or Zealots to maximize his soul reclaim ability. If you had either of those, they would be your first choice.

I tried to make a decent list out of the models you have and you can give it a test run. See how you like it and then make any changes neccessary.

High Reclaimer
*Templar
Hierophant
Vassal
Vilmon
Rhuphert
Bastions max unit
Exemplar Errants min unit
Cleansers min unit
Idrians min unit

The basic jist of the list is a grind it out game. Have Rhuphert trail your Bastions and give them Dirge of Mists the first round. Then it's either tough or march, depending on the situation.

If you've never played the HR, your typical first one or two turns goes like this. Activate all of your troops first, then activate the HR. He then spends focus to cast burning ash to protect your troops.

To maximize the distance on burning ash, have the HR charge one of your back line troops to get the extra three inches. This helps tremendously and a lot of the time, you'll miss the attack with his low mat. You can even change the facing on a cleanser to make sure the HR is still in his front arc.

In general, when playing the HR think about assassination runs with weapon master troops, for example, the Knights Exemplar. You'll also want to bring a commander along for your non-fearless troops, someone like Vilmon or Rhoven. In my opinion, Rhoven is a auto-include with the HR because of Menoth's Sight and his commander status.

Hope this helps.

By the way, do you have a choir?

By the way, do you have a choir?

thanks this helps alot, and no i do not have a choir, but i am thinking about putting in a min unit, my money supply is running a little low and im trying to see where i could fit in a choir..... where i buy models, it would set me back about 19 dollars to get just a min choir.... this brings up an old question of mine. Is the choir really worth the money and worth the abilities it does on the field? ive been playing about a year and played about 20 games all with out a choir and have done really good actually.:D

No offense, but 20 games is actually very few especially in a years worth of time. I play about 20 a month. Playing against a Cygnar gunline you'll appreciate them not just steam rolling your jacks with hunters/defenders. Or Haley not being able to Dominate your jacks. Or Cryx and denying them parasite on your jacks or crippling grasp. +2 pow really adds up overtime in hurting jacks.

On topic, HR as I've seen him really benefits from 2 play styles. Either abusing Sac Lamb or using a maxed out infantry list to A2A the opponent into the ground. Rhupert is good but he's golden with the noKD added, since it puts us at an advantage over other armies that can have Rhupert. Gorman can help too since, he can black oil which could setup your A2A run, since they'll be at -4 def.

I play the HR a lot, and I like using Crusaders and Repenters with him along with a Revenger so I can arc his attack spells...

at 25 points, I like to use this list

HR
Crusader
Revenger
Zealots (max)
Knights Exemplar
Knights Exemplar Errants (max)

that comes up to exactly 25 points (I'm doing this from memory...my cards are in my car)

now, the HR works best with Weapon master troops, and Bastions are great with him, especially when Rupert Carvolo is following them giving them Pathfinder...so with what you own, I might do this at 25 points

HR
Crusader
Repenter
Bastions (max)
Rupert Carvolo
Vassal
KEE (min)

that should be 24 points, but I am not sure, since I do not have the Merc cards yet...

The biggest thing I notice missing from your list, and something I haven't seen anyone else mention, is an arc node. Being able to throw down a wall of smoke from a Revenger or Guardian is huge as it lets your army advance, lay down any fire you have, then hide behind the smoke wall. Barring a few specific models that ignore cloud effects, your army is pretty darn safe.

You might also want to be able to arc Ashes to Ashes occasionally at it's a great spell for clearing infantry (though particularly expensive for THR to cast.)

How does the Arc node help with Burning Ash?
