Quick noob question, which was probably answered somewhere in the old forums - are the MK II faction books being released concurrently, or are some factions going to have to wait 3,4,5 months or more to get their faction's book?

also, does MK II Prime contain any unit information at all, or is it all rules/general fluff?

thanks!

1) They'll be released in the order of the Summer Rampage results-- Cygnar, Khador, Menoth, Cryx, Mercs. (Not 100% sure on the order of the last three). There's no word yet on the gap between releases, whether it'll be weeks or months.

Though keep in mind, everyone's cards (with all material up to Legends) will be out in January, so factions are just waiting on the books to see their new models.

2) Prime Mk.II will likely have the same models in it as Prime Mk.I.

Prime II has the original Prime models plus one new jack for each of the 4 original factions.

will PP be switching to offering MK II cards in blisters and unit boxes soon?

We haven't heard about that one way or another. Presumably the switch will happen sometime in the new year.

The new warmachine models that are coming out all have MKII cards. Dannon and Bull, Harlan Versh, etc etc.

Aye, but I think he's referring to, for example, ordering Siege and getting his Mk.II card in the blister. We've been assuming that they'll start repacking within the first month or so of the launch, if they haven't already done it.

Or alternately, they could just assume that people will buy the decks, and that will handle all of their pre-Mk.II model needs.

oh - before I forget. Will PP be offering the ability to by single cards apart from decks? alot of the players here have multiples of the same jacks, and buying an entire deck just for each set of multiples is wacky.

scratch that - I see them on the website now - Ihope they stay there!

The old decks had multiples of many things. Usually enough of multi-wound models to get up to a 1000 pt games (for example, two Journeyman warcaster cards in the Cygnar box). In terms of warjacks, there were four of each, if I recall correctly. So hopefully the new decks will be the same.

Also, if you buy one plastic warjack kit to get the new heavy for your faction, it'll come with cards for a couple of the other heavies (the other two or three options for assembling the kit).

And in the end, if it's anything like before, you should be able to order more cards. But the shipping charges'll get ya, so order other stuff along with it (for bits orders, for example, a bunch of us used to pool our order into one to save on shipping).

They traditionally sold cards in the Privateer store for 50c a card, though the shipping was absolutely horrible (ie, a flat minimum $10 or $15 even if you're just shipping 3 cards).

That said: Mk.I faction decks had 4 copies of each Jack. I'd expect the same for Mk.II.
